Monitor Employee Requests Follow
An important part of using Benefits Zone to streamline enrollments is designing the app to help direct employee requests to the appropriate person or channel. Consider the following strategies to quickly address incoming requests from employees:
Drive Employees to Important Resources
Design your app to highlight the resources that make scheduling and enrolling easy. Customize the buttons in your app to link to tools that help streamline the process like:
- Scheduling assistants/links
- Frequently requested forms
- Landing pages that provide a centralized resource repository
- FAQs or Help Forums
Connect Employees With the Right Person
Take some time early in the process to "map" the various paths an employee request could be routed. Be sure to identify the key parties that will help manage employee requests and make sure their contact information is accurate in the app.
Tailor the contact method for each stakeholder based on their preferred method of communication. That is, if it's easier for the HR team to respond to requests by email, link to an email address instead of a phone number.
Add information to the buttons on the Contacts section to help direct requests to the correct person as much as possible. For example, "Email [contact] for Claims", "Call [contact] for Coverage Options", etc.
