Employee status says “SMS prohibited" or "SMS not authorized" Follow
To have an “SMS authorized” status that can receive text messages, employees must:
- Be created or authorized by someone with permissions to authorize them for messaging.
- Send a direct message to the case contact number.
- Register through the app.
- Text START to the case contact number.
If employees text “STOP” in reply to any of the text messages sent from the Benefits Zone platform, the system automatically adjusts their communication status to “SMS prohibited”
If an employee has an “SMS not authorized” status, it’s likely that they haven’t installed or registered with the app.
