How to opt an employee out of communication Follow
The Benefits Zone system automatically opts employees who text “STOP” to text messages out of communication and adjusts their status to “SMS prohibited”. If you receive a separate message with an opt out request:
- Ask the employee to search for the text message they received from the case contact number.
- Prompt them to text the word “stop” to that number.
Note: to opt an employee back in to messaging after they have texted “stop”, ask them to text “start” to the case contact number.
